The qualification provides learners with an opportunity to develop IT skills, knowledge, understanding and competence in a range of areas, relevant to an IT user.
The qualification has been designed to develop learners’ understanding and competency across different IT skills and applications, including
spreadsheets, presentation software, IT security systems, and using specific programmes to solve problems. It is therefore suitable for learners who either use IT in their current job role or plan to enter a job role where IT skills will be used.
