Earlier this month, one of our digital marketing skills coaches, Danny, participated in a coast to coast bike ride in two days to raise money for NSPCC.

Danny cycled from Whitehaven – Whitey Bay and raised over £350 for NSPCC which will help towards the fight of ending child abuse. Danny even managed to get back into work on the following Monday morning and was back to supporting learners on our digital marketing apprenticeship and assessing work!

We’re extremely proud of what Danny has done, it’s fantastic to see his positive attitude towards making a change in people’s lives in and out of the business!

It been quite an adventure pushing across the Lake District 55 miles to Langwathby, a small village just past Penrith to set up camp on the Saturday.
With 80 miles ahead of us, Sunday was an early start, climbing up Hartside Bypass across the North Yorkshire Moors, some stunning views and even more awesome declines through rolling hills into Hexham, Newcastle and a final Push along the Tyne to Whitley Bay and the finish line!
I have managed to tick off around 320km with the pre and the C2C rides, raising over £300 for the NSPCC, to support go to https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ride300-dannylomax where you can see and read more about the 2 day challenge.
