The B2W Group hosted a charity event on the 23rd July in partnership with People Plus, The Vedas Group, and Bootstrap.

The event ran 12:00-14:00 and included a range of activities from a cake sale, competitions, raffles, and we even had hand-made dog bandanas for sale!

The event was hosted for two great charities, StreetPaws and Prince’s Trust.

Street Paws promotes animal welfare and relieves the suffering of animals by providing free of charge veterinary care and emergency kennel space, to animals owned by people who are homeless, vulnerably housed or other vulnerable groups severely affected by poverty.

Prince’s Trust is a charity in the United Kingdom founded in 1976 by Charles, Prince of Wales to help vulnerable young people get their lives on track. It supports 11 to 30-year-olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion.

The competitions include raffles for hampers donated by Training Strategies, a 2ft Dalmatian stuffed toy donated by The Vegas Group, and a bottle of champagne for guessing how many treats were in a jar on display.

Saul Muscat, Enrolment Manager at The B2W Group, managed to win the 2tf Dalmatian with the guess of ‘Stripe’!

The B2W Group had a very special visitor participate in the Yappy Hour charity event. Keely Jukes, Partnership Manager at People Plus, brought along Lola to the event, who put a smile on the faces of everyone in the office. Lenny, our office dog, was especially happy about Lola’s visit!

100% of the proceeds made from the day will be going to the charities. We have raised a total amount of £129.50!

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone that got involved during the event
