Jobs fair success in Wolverhampton

Our Works4U programme in the West Midlands recently hosted a Jobs Fair to officially open our new office based in Wolverhampton.

The event provided a great opportunity for local organisations to come together and meet some of our past and current learners on our employment support programme.

We were delighted to also welcome the City of Wolverhampton Mayoress, Linda Leach, who was in attendance to mark the official opening of our office on located in the Chubb Building on Fryer Street.

Reflecting on the success of the day’s events, our Works4U Wolverhampton Business Manager, Bhupi Bansal, said;

The day was full of meetings with inspiring people. Not just our partners and employers, but more importantly, local residents who need support to get them back into work.

Our Works4U programme is designed to upskill, inspire and motivate our participants and provide targeted and individual support, which makes a real difference to our valued learners.

Mayoress Linda Leach also said;

It's so important to help people to learn new skills and help them get back into work, or move onwards and upwards to better paid jobs.

I was delighted to go along to the jobs fair with The B2W Group and it was great to see the enthusiasm everyone had for getting the potential learners into the right role for them.
