The B2W Group specialise in the Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship. This 18-month programme allows you to gain real work experience whilst also working towards a recognised marketing qualification.
A personalised experience
Listening to feedback from current employers and learners completing the apprenticeship, we found that they would benefit from optional routes that focus on different key areas in marketing.
Digital marketing includes a broad range of specialist roles that individuals can go into. Roles include SEO Specialist, Social Media Manager, Campaign Manager, Graphic Designer, Web Developer & Web Designer and much more.
Allowing you to choose your own route provides the opportunity to dive deeper into your desired career path as well as expand on the skill set for the path you’re most interested in.
Choose Your Pathway
From February, The B2W Group will offer two different pathways. The content of the apprenticeship will differ depending on which route the apprentice decides to take.
Route A
Who is it for?
This pathway is for those who want to specialise or expand their effectiveness in using social media platforms as marketing tools. Upon completion you will gain the CIW Social Media Strategist qualification. This covers all aspects of Digital Marketing in relation to social media.
Why take this route?
Social media has become a vital part of company social media strategies. 3.81 billion people use social media worldwide in 2020, which is up almost double from 2.07 billion in 2015. Businesses are utilising social media platforms to build brand awareness and reach their target audience. The platforms provide opportunities for brands to connect with their audience and create a more personal experience, building brand trust and resulting in loyal customers.
“The information I learned through the social media training allowed me to work independently within my placement. This was beneficial for both me and my employer as not only did I learn the skills to work confidently in managing social media accounts, my employer was also confident that I had developed the knowledge to work in a self-supporting manor, which allowed them to dedicate their time to more urgent matters.
Areas like customer service on social media can be quite intimidating when first starting, so covering these topics provided me with invaluable knowledge to help me fill out my role and take on extra tasks comfortably. I’d recommend Pathway A for anyone seeking a role which is heavily based around social media marketing as the chance to learn the skills in a safe and controlled environment will prove beneficial to any new learners, as it did for me.”
