This fully funded Rail Track Operative Skills Bootcamp is delivered by Morson Training on behalf of Back2Work Complete Training. It is designed to provide local residents in Lancashire with the skills and knowledge to start working and earning on major rail projects in the North West.

Course Content

The Rail Track Operative Skills Bootcamp is fully funded for local residents in Lancashire. 

The course runs for 3 weeks full-time, between 8.30am – 3pm each day and is based at The Mill, South Hall Street, Salford M5 4TP.

All PPE will be provided and the course will prepare individuals with the skills, knowledge and certification to become a probationary Rail Track Worker.

The course covers the following:

  • Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screening
  • PTS AC
  • DCCR (3rd Rail)
  • Track Induction
  • Manual Handling
  • Powered Plant and Small Tools
  • First Aid
  • Environmental Awareness
