This week, our Regional Engagement Team has been busy visiting various local community projects throughout the UK, bringing some festive cheer by gifting chocolates and other Christmas goodies.

North of Tyne

Donna and Elaine have visited numerous community centres and projects across the North of Tyne that do amazing work for residents in the North East, such as Recovery Connections, Newcastle Futures, Northumberland Skills, Action Station, Solid Foundations, Working Well, The Buffalo Centre (Blyth) and more.

West Yorkshire

Lewis has visited several projects and referral partners across Leeds and West Yorkshire this last week to thank them for their continued support and for the work they do in their local areas by dropping off some Christmas chocolates for staff to enjoy.

Cambridge & Peterborough

Across both Cambridge & Peterborough, Natasha spent some time at local community centres and left some gifts to be enjoyed by both visitors and staff.

Greater Manchester

In Greater Manchester, Pete and Sam visited the Department for Work & Pensions in Manchester, as well as the team at Job Centre Plus in Bolton to thank them for their continued mutual support.

Tees Valley

Maurice and Mohammed from our team in Tees Valley have visited various partners in the region to drop off gifts, including the likes of Stockton Training & Learning Hub, as well as Recovery Connections and multiple Job Centres in the area.

The team has also visited Job Centres and other community projects based in Coventry, Birmingham, Southport, Altringham and Liverpool this week meeting with organisers, volunteers and the unemployed, dropping off gifts and passing on details of our courses starting in the New Year.

Our Head of Contracts & Performance, Keely Jukes, explained why we value these projects and businesses so much and how we work together with them to support local residents.

"Collaboration is key here at The B2W Group and we're extremely fortunate to work with a wonderful range of local referral partner organisations and community projects who are an integral part of their local communities and provide an invaluable support service to residents within the regions we deliver across.

"We wanted to give a little something back to express our thanks and gratitude at this time of year. Not only for the support they've provided throughout 2023, but also for the passion, dedication and enthusiasm they demonstrate every day towards positively impacting their local residents.

"In addition to this, our Regional Engagement Team have also delivered donations to support local food banks to assist those in need by spreading a little extra seasonal goodwill."

The B2W Group has a fresh approach to transforming businesses by up-skilling their current staff or bringing an apprentice into the business to add a dynamic and dedicated individual to the team. All of our courses are available through various streams of government funding so are a cost-effective way to provide high-quality training within the workplace.
