Principles of Management Course Testimonial - James Kelly

Our Level 3 Principles of Management course is designed to help you prepare for managerial roles, by introducing you to the key responsibilities that come with management.

This includes learning about objective setting, allocating work and communicating effectively, as well as how to handle conflict and manage your own self development.

One learner who recently completed the course is James Kelly from Greater Manchester.

James' Story

James previously completed our LGV Driver Routeway course, but was lacking management skills and experience that he felt was holding him back from pursuing more senior positions in this field.

After a chat with our career advisors, he decided to enrol on our Principles of Management course to further his knowledge in management, to help prepare for future managerial and team leadership roles.

He praised the overall structure of the course, and described how it helped increase his confidence in being able to lead a team.

"I'm much more confident thanks to the structure and strategies on the course. I also feel more comfortable to lead a team now, which I would never have done before the course.

"I'm now fully confident I could lead a team and manage them correctly."

Securing Employment

Not only did James successfully complete the Level 3 course, but he has since managed to secure a full time role, working for an Environment Agency.

"I'm currently awaiting my start date, but I feel more experienced and confident to us my new skills gained on this course. It's really changed my approach to the industry and I now feel confident in managing a team."
