What Is A Fully Funded Training Course?

We receive hundreds of questions every day about the courses and services we offer, so we compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions to give you some peace of mind.

In this short blog, we aim to answer all the questions around our “fully-funded” or “Government funded” training course offer, with subsequent questions also covered around eligibility and the specific courses available.

What Is A Fully Funded Training Course?

Put simply, the Government provides funding for adult education to local councils across the UK. This is to help educate individuals and increase employment and skills in certain fields.

As a training provider, The B2W Group utilise this funding to support the training of employed and unemployed individuals throughout the country. This is how we’re able to deliver training at no cost to our learners.

Fully funded training courses are fully Government-funded if you meet our eligibility criteria.

Am I Eligible For Government Funded Training?

The Government’s eligibility criteria varies depending on the course type, qualification level, and location.

Some of our training courses, such as the Digital Bytesize course, require you to be over the age of 19, unemployed and not currently in any other Government-funded education. Whereas other courses may require you to have achieved a certain level of Maths and English education, or provide proof that you’re eligible to work in the UK.

However, we’re able to provide learning for a wide variety of individuals across the UK, including those who are in work and also for those who are currently unemployed.

We also offer a pre-employment training service, which delivers qualifications on course completion for specific employer requirements, with an interview with the employer after you’ve completed your training.

What Courses Are Available?

We have many courses on offer to suit various needs and provide specific skills, including:

Short digital courses ( IT, cyber security, creative skills, web design) – such as our Digital Bytesize course
Business skills (project management, Microsoft, coding)
Bootcamps (LGV, software, IT, data)
Pre-employment training (supply chain & logistics, contact centre, customer service, construction, digital skills and more)

We also offer longer employment support for those who have struggled to gain and maintain employment via our Restart Scheme.

What Qualification Will I Achieve?

We offer a wide range of training courses that offer qualifications from Level 1 through to Level 4. These are all industry-recognised accreditations that are popular with employers, while also ideal for earning and maintaining employment in your chosen sector. Each specific course page on our website will highlight the certificate/diploma/qualification you will achieve upon course completion.

How Do I Apply / Enrol?

If you meet our eligibility criteria for the course you’re interested in, you can simply fill out the sign-up form at the bottom of the page of your chosen course.

One of our expert and friendly advisors will then contact you to discuss your application and eligibility further, before enrolling you on the course.
