Due to the unprecedented impact of COVID-19, an unexpected redundancy left Geraldine Howell in a period of unemployment lasting over 18 months. Such an expansive time frame initiated a referral from Rusholme Job Centre on 15/10/221 to B2W Restart Scheme to assist in potential re-employment for Geraldine. In her initial assessment, Geraldine’s skills in customer service and Quality control were evident, enabling Geraldine’s Restart Advisor to delve into the invaluable experience she was instilled with because of her previous posts. 

Blown away by Geraldine’s performance, Geraldine’s Restart Advisor spoke with Operations Manager Rachel Willoughby. Geraldine’s experience was outlined, and as B2W Group was recruiting for a compliance administrator, B2W Restart Scheme invited Geraldine to attend for interview. At the Interview, Geraldine’s skills shone, establishing her as an ideal candidate for the position. As a result, B2W Restart Scheme was delighted to offer her the role, which Geraldine happily accepted. Geraldine commenced her post with B2W Restart Scheme on 29/11/2021 following the completion of mandatory company training.

Geraldine stated, “from the first moment I came to B2W Restart Scheme the entire team was welcoming and encouraging, I really looked forward to my appointments as I felt that people listened to me”.  Geraldine is a formidable lady whose determination, drive, and enthusiasm assisted in securing of this position.
