Suuad Jamal
Twenty-four-year-old Suuad Jamal has recently completed our Future You programme. Suuad needed support with finding the right sector and role, which is why she enrolled with us and had this to say about Future You at The B2W Group:
The Future You team is always dedicated to ensuring that the people they work with are taken care of. It’s vital that the programme meets participants’ needs and that they are put first. Individuality is vital so that they can achieve their goals; Suuad is looking for help, finding the right sector and role.
The Future You programme also focuses on employability skills, CVs and application forms, Mental Health, Portfolio and Cover letters and making sure participants get the skills and training necessary to move forwards.
Suuad joined the Future You program in need of support to try and find the right job sector and role. Future You gave her support with job searching skills and helped with optimising her CV to apply for specific job roles.
Following this Future You supported Suuad into work. Suuad managed to find herself employed as a Financial Administrator at the Co-Op. Suuad settled well into this new role, picking up the process quickly and efficiently.
Since working at the Co-Op, Suuad was named by the business as a highly valued member of the Co-Op team. This has led to other roles offered on other contracts which Suuad has considered.
Future You went on to say that since supporting Suuad for several months, she now has the determination, nature and newfound skills to make her goals a success. This will take her on the path to reaching where she wants to be in her career.
